The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Honors the Life and Service of Retired K9 Zeke
By TheNevadaGlobeStaff, December 30, 2024 9:08 pm
K9 Zeke was a dedicated member of our Sheriff’s Office family, serving with distinction alongside his partner, Deputy Wike, as part of our K9 team. Zeke was dual-certified in narcotics detection and patrol work, and throughout his career, he bravely protected and faithfully served the members of our community.
After retiring in 2022, K9 Zeke enjoyed his well-deserved retirement with his loving family until his recent passing.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office extends our deepest condolences to the Wike family during this difficult time.
Rest easy, K9 Zeke. Your service will never be forgotten, and you will be deeply missed.
