Three People Have Been Arrested in a Drug Bust in Carson City
NEVADA – In an operation conducted on November 10, 2022, the Tri-NET Task Force and the Carson City Sheriff’s Office’s Special Enforcement Team successfully apprehended Kenneth Anderson.
For over three years, the 46-year-old evaded authorities. Kenneth was wanted for three felonies related to the possession and trafficking of substantial quantities of illegal narcotics. In addition, he was wanted for misdemeanors in three counties in Northern Nevada.
On Thursday, Kenneth and Joseph Desjardins were arrested as they exited a nearby auto parts business.
Police discovered a big quantity of illicit firearms and controlled substances when they searched their vehicle.
Some of the firearms were determined to be unserialized, or “ghost guns,” and one even had a silencer on it without the proper documentation.
Four hundred and seventy rounds of ammunition, twenty-four grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, thirty-four grams of M30 fentanyl pills, two grams of heroin, seven hundred and ninety grams of marijuana, a large amount of cash in various denominations, and various drug paraphernalia were discovered by the police.
The suspect’s automobile also contained stolen documents and credit cards.
They were spotted at Jess Fields’ house in the northwest part of Carson City earlier that day.
It turned out Jess had a warrant for receiving stolen property from an unrelated inquiry.
The SWAT team picked Jess up. The home was searched with a warrant and two more handguns, one of which was a ghost gun, and about 27 grams of meth were found.
Each of the three men was arrested on multiple charges, including drug trafficking, possession, and having a firearm while on parole. They were all booked into the Carson City Jail.
The recovered medicines had a total estimated street value of roughly $27,400.
