Two People Have Been Forced to Relocate Due to a House Fire in the Moon Rocks Area

NEVADA – According to Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue (TMFR), two persons were displaced Monday night due to a house fire in the Moon Rocks area.

A structure fire was reported on Ernie Lane, north of Palomino Valley, at around 8:00 p.m., and both TMFR and the Sparks Fire Department responded.

According to TMFR, firefighters arrived to find the house fully ablaze at around 8:30 p.m. and successfully extinguished the blaze.

The source of the fire is unknown, and no casualties have been recorded.
