University Police Investigate Possible Threats Made Online

NEVADA – University police are investigating a possible threat after being alerted to threatening posts made online.
The posts, which were made on Yelp, were directed towards the campus and nearby businesses.
Officials are working with the Reno Police Department and the Washoe County Sheriff’s office to investigate the situation.
Despite the possible threat, classes are set to continue as normal on Monday morning.
The university police have assured students and staff that they will continue to prioritize online safety and collaborate with local law enforcement to ensure a safe campus environment.
