Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest in Domestic Strangulation & Kidnapping Case

NEVADA – On August 16, 2023, deputies responded to a domestic strangulation incident on Hummingbird Drive in Cold Springs. The suspect fled the scene after taking the victim’s car and other items.
On September 20, 2023, Dylan Smith was taken into custody without incident. He faces multiple charges, including Domestic Battery by Strangulation and 1st Degree Kidnapping.
