Woman Arrested After Alleged Suffocation Murder in Sparks

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – A 61-year-old lady was detained on Thursday on suspicion of suffocating someone else on January 1 in the industrial district of Sparks.
In connection with the murder of Kim Rohr, Suzanne Ehlers was arrested and lodged in the Washoe County prison. Police in Sparks declined to elaborate on Ehlers and Rohr’s connection.
Around 4:11 p.m., according to the police, they were summoned to the vicinity of Rock Boulevard and Glendale Avenue. on Jan. 1. When they came, Rohr was not breathing, and Ehlers was seated on her neck and chest.
Rohr was taken to a hospital, where she remained unconscious until her death on January 10th. On the evening of the incident, police released Ehlers awaiting a more in-depth investigation. The inquiry, according to the police, established that Ehlers was the principal aggressor who strangled Rohr and sat on her chest for a long time until Rohr died.
Ehlers was detained by police on Thursday afternoon.
Additionally, the Sparks Police Department made a photograph of a guy at a bus stop prior to the altercation public. To find out whether he has any knowledge on the case, detectives want to speak with him. He is not under suspicion. Contact number for anyone with information is 775-353-2231.
