Titus, Lee, and Horsford refuse to condemn Democrats’ Memorial Day Dishonor

Memorial Day is supposed to be one of the few sacred days left in American public life. A day to honor the men and women who died defending the country. Democrats apparently saw it as a campaign opportunity.
Over Memorial Day weekend, the official sparked outrage after posting a partisan political attack tied to President Donald Trump while Americans were mourning fallen service members and honoring military sacrifice.
The backlash was immediate and brutal.
Conservatives, veterans, military families, and Republican officials torched the post for turning a solemn day of remembrance into a cheap partisan stunt. The criticism exploded across social media as users accused Democrats of disgracing Memorial Day by politicizing the deaths of American troops.
Then came the panic delete. After getting hammered online, Democrats quietly deleted the post, but by then the damage was already done.
Republicans instantly seized on the controversy as another example of what they argue is a modern Democrat Party increasingly disconnected from patriotism, military culture, and basic respect for American institutions.
The Republicans account blasted Democrats for using Memorial Day to push partisan attacks instead of honoring fallen heroes.
Rapid Response 47 highlighted the backlash and deletion, while veteran Republican strategist and current NRCC Deputy Executive Director Jack Pandol accused Democrats of crossing a line that Americans still take seriously.
Congressman Darrell Issa slammed Democrats for dishonoring the memory of fallen troops, while DOW Response mocked the party for deleting the post only after public outrage erupted.
And notably absent from the backlash?
Nevada Democrats Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford. None publicly criticized the post. None condemned the politicization of Memorial Day. None distanced themselves from the national party apparatus after the controversy exploded.
For Republicans, that silence speaks volumes.
The issue lands especially hard in Nevada, home to thousands of veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and major military infrastructure tied to Nellis Air Force Base and Naval Air Station Fallon.
Nevada voters traditionally treat Memorial Day with seriousness and respect regardless of politics. Republicans argue Democrats increasingly do not. The controversy also reinforced a broader political contrast Republicans are aggressively pushing heading into 2026.
While Trump spent Memorial Day weekend honoring fallen service members, promoting military strength, and emphasizing patriotism, Democrats once again found themselves consumed by partisan rage and online activism even on one of the country’s most solemn holidays.
For conservatives, the deletion only made things worse. Because it showed Democrats knew exactly how offensive the post was after Americans reacted. The modern Democrat Party talks endlessly about protecting democracy, respecting institutions, and defending norms.
Yet when it came time to honor the Americans who gave their lives for the country, Democrats apparently could not resist turning even Memorial Day into another ugly political food fight.
