LAS VEGAS, NV — In an aggressive move to capture local summer traffic and millennial nightlife spend, Palms Casino Resort has officially unveiled “Camp Palms: No Kids Allowed,” a massive experiential pop-up that transforms traditional casino infrastructure into a nostalgic, wilderness playground.
The interactive activation marks a growing post-pandemic trend prioritizing group-based entertainment over standard slot-and-table gaming layouts.
The “Least Supervised Place on Earth” Concept
Located directly on the casino floor adjacent to Scotch 80 Prime, the month-long summer installation runs through July 31, 2026, operating Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5:00 PM.
Developed in partnership with ThemeDream Productions, the space is heavily inspired by the irreverent spirit of classic 1980s summer camp comedies like Meatballs. The meticulous architectural design converts the property’s indoor footprint into a nostalgic wilderness, featuring towering artificial pines, rustic lakeside vistas, campfire hangouts, and live camp folklore elements brought to life by a dedicated cast of interactive characters.

Nostalgic Comfort Food and Campfire Mixology
Rather than functioning as a standard themed lounge, Camp Palms operates as a living, breathing performance space. Original characters—including the enthusiastic “Camp Director Larry,” “Camp Counselors Sandy and Brad,” and the flirtatious “Nurse Candy”—interact directly with visitors throughout the evening, driving spontaneous team competitions, talent contests, and camp sing-alongs.
The culinary and mixology programs follow the nostalgic theme, serving high-end spins on childhood classics. The menu features a Campfire Surf & Turf utilizing Wagyu chili and smoked trout dip, Camp Dawgs, and “Wakey, Wakey, Bakey, Bakey” campfire bacon and eggs.
Behind the bar, mixologists craft custom cocktails like Bigfoot’s Watermelon Smash and the Red, White & Boom!, a summertime beverage creatively topped with a nostalgic Bomb Pop. The venue requires a strict 21-and-over age limit, operating on a first-come, first-served basis with no cover charge, providing an accessible off-Strip night out.
