LAS VEGAS, NV — Gaming revenues across the Las Vegas Strip rebounded into positive territory in July, propelled by strong table game hold and steady summer visitation across Southern Nevada’s marquee resort corridor.

According to official monthly financial metrics released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), casinos on the Las Vegas Strip recorded a 3.6% year-over-year increase in gaming win, generating $1.173 billion across Clark County.

Table Games Lead Mid-Summer Rebound

The Strip’s monthly performance was buoyed by high-limit table games—particularly baccarat and blackjack—which offset slight seasonal softening in leisure slot machine play.

Clark County’s $1.173 billion total represented 84.5% of Nevada’s overall statewide gaming win, affirming the southern resort core’s dominant role in driving public revenues.

State tax collections based on the 6.75% statutory gaming tax rate reached $98.5 million for July, lifting cumulative fiscal year-to-date state general fund deposits to $184.2 million—running 0.7% ahead of last year’s pace.

Regional Performance and Northern Resiliency

Northern Nevada gaming markets also turned in strong July performances. Sparks reported a 9.5% increase to $17.2 million, while outlying Washoe County surged 11.8% to $8.8 million.

Market analysts attributed Washoe County’s resilience to major sports tourism and the concluding weeks of the five-month 122nd USBC Open Championships in downtown Reno.
