Intersection Secured and Traffic Diverted

The shooting occurred along one of Henderson’s major transportation spines, connecting residential neighborhoods to commercial retail plazas and the eastern gateway toward Lake Mead.

Due to the heavy concentration of commercial businesses and morning commuter traffic, police issued a public advisory requesting motorists avoid East Lake Mead Parkway and East Warm Springs Road while detectives document tire marks, search for spent shell casings, and review area security cameras.

“This is an isolated incident and there’s no danger to the public,” Henderson Police Department officials confirmed in a formal operational briefing issued shortly after the scene was secured.

Detectives are canvassing nearby gas stations, retail centers, and traffic signal cameras to identify any vehicles seen fleeing the intersection immediately following the sound of gunshots.

Coroner Verification and Investigation Outlook

The official identity of the deceased, alongside the confirmed medical cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner following notification of next of kin.
