LAS VEGAS – An indictment was brought against a Las Vegas man who allegedly made and sold 3D-printed machine gun conversion equipment.

On Friday, 36-year-old Clarence Meekins appeared in court for illegally selling firearms he had constructed himself. Due to his criminal record, he is not allowed to own a weapon.

Robbery and brandishing a firearm during a violent crime are only two of his many prior offenses.

Concerning firearms, Meekins has been indicted on five counts: one count of operating a firearms business without a license, two counts of illegal possession of a machine gun, and two counts of being a felon in possession of firearms. On October 17, a judge will preside over a jury trial.
