SPARKS, Nev. – The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter has been increased to $5,000 by Secret Witness.

Sparks Police are investigating a fatal gunshot that occurred in shopping plaza on Thursday, July 28.

Around 8:30 p.m., the Sparks Police Department responded to a report of a person shooting into a car near Raley’s on North McCarran Blvd. and Pyramid Way.

Officers arrived to find a guy with several gunshot wounds in a car and pronounced him dead at the spot.

According to Sparks Police Officer Steven Goodrum, the event does not appear to pose a public safety risk.

Secret Witness is offering a $2,500 prize for information leading to the suspect’s capture and conviction.
