
Elderly Couple Found Dead in North Valley Home

The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified two persons who were found dead in a North Valleys residence Saturday night on Tuesday.
Evelyn Iverson, 54, and Eugene Iverson, 81, of Reno, were declared dead at their home in the 8000 block of Corrigan Way.
Washoe County officials said the couple died of gunshot wounds; Evelyn’s death was declared a murder, and Eugene committed suicide.
The Reno Police Department responded to the incident about 8:00 p.m. on October 15 and reported that there is no threat to the community.
