LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Fire official says, an unauthorized power fire destroyed a home and sent one person to the hospital in North Las Vegas on Monday.
Around 2:15 p.m., crews responded. A representative for the North Las Vegas Fire Department stated in a video statement that they responded to reports of a house fire with flames touching a neighboring residence.
When an engine came, it put out the fire while preserving the secondary exposures.
According to the fire department, one individual suffered from smoke inhalation and serious leg burns and was transferred to UMC.
An investigation discovered that the power box was wired without permission from an electric utility, implying that the unit was designed to function illegally.
According to North Las Vegas Fire, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue aided with the response.
