A Massage Parlor Owner Accused of Sex Trafficking Gets Arrested

LAS VEGAS – Authorities have arrested a woman they say ran a sex trafficking ring out of a massage business in their town. Nearly two years have passed since Las Vegas police raided the commercial mall on Tropicana Avenue near Jones and busted up the brothel they allege she ran there.

At the intersection of Blue Diamond and Decatur in Las Vegas on Saturday, Wei Geng was taken into custody on seven outstanding felony warrants. In November of 2020, authorities allege, Geng ran a business named Lily A Reflexology, out of which she offered services much beyond massage.

A Special Investigations Section detective who busted the brothel in November 2020 noted, “Lily A Reflexology is a house of prostitution.”

An individual who “entered the shop and asked for a massage” alerted the police. The price of the massage, the woman informed him, was forty dollars. Once inside, the woman offered if he wanted “full service,” a euphemism for a sexual encounter, for $150. Two more women came up to him and pleaded for money. Because of his refusal, he was fired.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department subsequently dispatched a Vice Section undercover agent, who reported back that “females were all dressed in revealing apparel” and that “lubricants, condoms, and drugs for sexually transmitted illnesses” were all present.

In addition, the detective discovered a room with four beds. According to their research, sex trafficking victims are frequently kept as in-house tenants. The women working in the brothel were not from the Las Vegas area at all; rather, they were from other states like New York and California.

The money from each customer was split 60% to the worker and 40% to the residence, according to the investigation. The reflexology and massage parlor doubled as a prostitution ring.

On Sunday, Geng was able to afford bail and was released from jail. Next month, she must appear in court.
