The Lake Is Getting Lit: A Drive-Thru Light Show Is Coming To Washoe Lake
NEVADA- Starting Thursday, a drive-thru light show will take over Washoe Lake State Park for a few days.
Campground Loop B will be decked out with dazzling lights and Christmas scenery. You may be festive by listening to Christmas music and viewing holiday scenery from the comfort of your car.
The third annual event begins on December 8 and runs through December 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Admission is $5 per vehicle for Nevada residents and $10 per vehicle for out-of-state visitors. The campsite circle has a vehicle clearance of 9 feet; cars taller than that will not be permitted.
This year, a new traffic pattern will be used to relieve traffic; nonetheless, attendees should still expect crowded traffic and delays.
