RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – A person was killed after being hit by a vehicle early Wednesday morning.
According to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle was driving south on Military Road in Lemmon Valley at 8:15 p.m. when he collided with a guy on the side of the road.
He was declared dead at the site. The driver is cooperating, and the Sheriff’s Office said the reason is being investigated.
At the time of the incident, the driver would have been staring straight into the sun, although it’s unclear if it was a role. Military Road is closed from Tholl to Kelly Lane in both directions.
