Woman Arrested After Breaking Into Home And Stealing Thousands of Dollars

LAS VEGAS – According to authorities, a Kansas woman arrested on Wednesday faces accusations of house burglary and grand theft of more than $25,000 for an event that occurred in November.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the Resorts World hotel on Nov. 11 after a man reported being robbed.

The accused victim told detectives he had drinks with “Becky,” later identified as Kendra Burtin, 32, of Wichita.

They eventually went to his hotel room, where she “gave him some medications to improve his ‘virality.'”

Which is actually a word meaning “the situation or reality of being rapidly spread or popularized by means of individuals connecting with each other, especially over the internet,” according to Dictionary.com.

While there is a market for drugs to boost “virility” which describes masculinity and male potency, that is not the phrase used in the report.

What kind of tablets could achieve such a feat as to improve virality is not identified in the research.

The man stated that no money was exchanged for intimate contact, and the last thing he remembered before falling asleep was that he still had all of his assets.

At some time, the man fell asleep and woke up to find his Rolex Submariner watch worth at $20,000 stolen, along with a cigar ring carrying his initials valued at $5,000 and a gold pinky ring also valued at $5,000.

Surveillance footage and a lineup with the purported victim showed Burtin was, in fact, “Becky.”

Burtin was detained and questioned about the thefts during a traffic check in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

According to the investigation, Burtin stated that the victim had given her $500 for sex but denied stealing anything.

Burtin has since posted bond, and her next court appearance is scheduled on January 12.
