LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Animal Foundation wants to start the year off right by helping some of its creatures find loving homes via an upcoming adoption event.
A “New Year, New Best Friend” adoption event will be held at the shelter from Friday, January 6, to Sunday, January 8.
All adult dogs’ adoption costs will be reduced to $23 during the celebration of 2023.
A complimentary canine DNA test for their new best friend will be given away to anyone who adopt a dog during the three-day event.
Starting at 11 a.m., adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-in traffic.
Before visiting the shelter, people wishing to adopt are advised to explore online for pets that could be a good fit.
Spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, and current vaccinations are all included in the adoption price. There may be a $10 licensing cost.
The Animal Foundation has 99 canines out for adoption as of Thursday morning, however that number varies regularly.
