RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The emergency operations center in Lyon County has been downgraded to “monitor and prepare.”
Today is expected to see the return of regular business hours.
As a cold system sweeps into the region this week, followed by a warmer time, county officials say they are keeping an eye on the weather. If necessary, they will also be ready for floods.
Sandbags should be left in place by residents during the spring thaw.
Until Friday, January 20, 2023, at the close of business, the Lyon County emergency operations center phone number (775) 461-3757 will be in service (5:00pm).
