Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Crash Near Bodines Casino, One Person in Custody

NEVADA – A vehicle pursuit that began in Douglas County late Wednesday morning ended in Carson City near Bodines Casino, with at least one suspect in jail after allegedly colliding with another vehicle.
The suspect in the pursuit, which began in Douglas County around 11:15 a.m., entered Carson City with officers from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Nevada State Police Highway Patrol division pursuing.
According to a CCSO sergeant via dispatch, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office was notified but had no direct involvement. The NSP Highway Patrol Division is in charge of the Carson City inquiry.
The suspect motorist presumably continued onto Old Clear Creek Road before ending up at Bodines in the 5800 block of South Carson Street, where he allegedly hit another vehicle. The suspect has been apprehended. There were no significant injuries recorded.
