Woman Accused Plowing Into Crowd on Las Vegas Strip Could Face Trial

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – After previously being deemed incompetent, Lakeisha Holloway, who is accused of ramming through large groups of people on the Strip in 2015, may go to trial, according to court documents.
The collision claimed the life of Jessica Valenzuela, a mother of three. At the time of the collision, Holloway’s child was in the vehicle.
In 2020, Holloway, whose real name is Paris Paradise Morton, was admitted to the Lake’s Crossing Center in Sparks.
However, according to court documents, she will now stand trial on May 30 before a jury, with a pretrial hearing set for May 11.
She is accused of murder, child abuse, battery with a dangerous weapon, attempted murder, and 71 other offenses.
