LAS VEGAS – Nevada State College, located in Henderson, will undergo a significant transformation on July 1, 2023, as it transitions to Nevada State University. This historic change comes after Governor Joe Lombardo signed legislation, Senate Bill 273, which officially codifies the renaming of the college into law.

The renaming of Nevada State College to Nevada State University marks a significant milestone in the institution’s journey.
