LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have confirmed the arrest of a second 18-year-old suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Darian A. Gonzalez in the northwest Las Vegas valley this January.
David Andres Valle was arrested on Thursday, February 29, and faces charges of open murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery. This arrest follows the earlier apprehension of Prseyus Dennis, also 18, who was taken into custody this week on suspicion of murder in the same case.
The shooting occurred on January 2 at an apartment located in the 2200 block of Torrey Pines Drive, near Smoke Ranch Road. Gonzalez was found deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound. A second victim sustained injuries in the shooting and self-transported to a hospital.
Investigators believe both victims were inside the apartment when the shooting took place. All other individuals involved had fled the scene prior to police arrival.
According to court records, two further suspects remain at large and are wanted on murder charges.
