Dina Titus Joins “Trump Derangement” Impeachment Circus

Democrat Rep. Dina Titus has once again proven her willingness to put partisan theatrics ahead of national security. This week she voted to advance articles of impeachment against President Trump, this time, over his efforts to halt Iran’s march toward nuclear capability. In doing so, Titus officially joined what the NRCC tongue-in-cheek labels the “Trump Derangement Syndrome Caucus” alongside high-profile liberals like Al Green, AOC, and Sean Casten.
This move is not about principle it’s about political spectacle, prioritizing impeachment drama over the administration’s decisive actions against a hostile global adversary like Iran. The NRCC points out that Titus and her allies “would rather tie the President’s hands than confront threats to America.”
Impeachment is a grave constitutional power, not a reflexive red response. The Constitution delegates it for high crimes and misdemeanors not foreign policy disputes. Yet, Titus has shamelessly weaponize it after President Trump took bold steps to protect American interests. The NRCC spokesman Christian Martinez condemns this blatantly: “Radical Democrats are proving once again they’re more interested in impeaching President Trump than protecting the American people.”
Congresswoman Titus’s repeated impeachment votes make her appear not as a defender of democracy, but as a partisan crusader willing to undermine democratic institutions to block a president she dislikes. Impeachment shouldn’t be used as a political hammer. It’s a constitutional check intended for dire misuse of power not a tool to stymie policy. If Congresswoman Titus continues down this path, she risks alienating independent Nevadans who are tired of constant political warfare.
