Shooting at St. Louis & Santa Paula Sends One to Hospital, Another Injured on Scene

Two adults were injured in a shooting Monday evening in central Las Vegas, police report. Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to the intersection of St. Louis Avenue and Santa Paula Drive, near Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road, after calls of gunfire. Officers found two people with gunshot wounds—one with minor injuries who remained on scene, and another transported to a local hospital for treatment. A person of interest has been detained as the investigation continues.
