Mandalay Bay Shooting Leaves One Injured, Investigation Ongoing

Authorities are investigating a shooting at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip that left one person injured. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded around 10:07 a.m. Friday to reports of gunfire at the hotel located on South Las Vegas Boulevard. At least two windows on the west side of the building were struck, officials said.
Medical responders transported one person to a local hospital with injuries characterized as non-life-threatening. The police have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and no additional details such as suspect description or motive have been confirmed at this time.
