Las Vegas police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred Monday evening at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and 6th Street, east of Paradise Road. The collision was reported shortly after 7:40 p.m., when an SUV traveling westbound allegedly ran a red light and struck a southbound vehicle in the intersection. The impact pushed vehicles across Sahara’s median and caused additional collisions with cars stopped at the eastbound red light. Ash reported minor injuries for those involved, and police suspect the SUV driver may have been under the influence. As a result, westbound Sahara at 6th Street is closed while investigation and cleanup are underway.
