Las Vegas Fire Leaves Three Hospitalized, Investigation Underway

Three people were injured early Tuesday morning following a house fire in Las Vegas, according to officials.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a fire shortly after 3 a.m. near Washington Avenue and Rancho Drive. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and flames coming from the single-story home. Crews were able to contain the blaze quickly and prevent it from spreading to nearby houses.
Authorities confirmed that three adults were transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and minor injuries. All are expected to recover.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze. The home sustained significant damage, and officials estimate that the losses could be substantial. No firefighters were injured during the operation.
Officials are reminding residents to ensure their smoke detectors are functioning and to have an emergency escape plan in place.
