Authorities are investigating several separate traffic-related incidents that occurred over the weekend across the Las Vegas Valley, resulting in multiple injuries and fatalities. The series of crashes included two deadly hit-and-run collisions and a shooting during an illegal street takeover.
Police say the incidents happened in different parts of the valley and involved both pedestrians and drivers. Investigators are working to identify the suspects in the hit-and-run cases while also looking into the circumstances surrounding the street takeover, where gunfire reportedly erupted during the gathering.
Officials have not released the names of the victims pending notification of next of kin. Law enforcement agencies continue to urge the public to report any information that could help locate those responsible for the crashes and shooting.
The recent spate of incidents has renewed safety concerns among local residents and authorities, who continue to emphasize the importance of vigilance and responsible driving, particularly during weekends when street activity and gatherings increase.
