Democrats’ Embrace Of Violent Rhetoric Has A Champion In Nevada: Steven Horsford

A new report from The Federalist lays bare a disturbing trend taking hold across the Democratic Party and Nevada’s own Steven Horsford is right in the middle of it. As the far left grows louder, angrier, and more openly comfortable with political violence, Horsford isn’t condemning it. He’s leaning in. Hard.

According to the report, Democrats are increasingly adopting the language, tactics, and worldview of activists who believe force, intimidation, and “by any means necessary” radicalism are legitimate political tools. For most Nevadans, that’s a flashing red warning sign. For Steven Horsford, it’s apparently a green light.

Horsford’s political standing has slipped with moderates, independents, and working-class voters who are sick of woke politics and sky-high living costs. Instead of adjusting, he’s doubling down – catering to the same far-left fringe that has spent the last several years cheering on riots, calling to abolish police, and excusing attacks on political opponents. He knows their support is the last plank under his feet, so he’s clinging to it no matter how toxic it becomes.

This isn’t the first time Horsford has planted his flag firmly on the radical left. As Nevada News and Views documented, Horsford stood shoulder-to-shoulder with extreme Democrats to oppose honoring murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

It was a disgusting display of partisanship-over-decency, but it revealed exactly where Horsford’s loyalties lie: not with Nevada families, but with a movement that treats conservatives as enemies deserving of punishment rather than fellow Americans deserving of respect.

The new Federalist report shows this problem is only getting worse. Instead of marginalizing violent rhetoric, Democrats like Horsford are normalizing it. Instead of cooling tensions, they’re inflaming them. Instead of showing leadership, they’re pandering to the loudest and most dangerous voices in their party.

Nevadans aren’t naïve, they’ve seen what happens when political violence is winked at or brushed aside. Businesses burn. Communities suffer. Families pay the price while politicians like Horsford chase applause from activists who think chaos is a strategy.

Nevada deserves better. They deserve leaders who reject extremism, who stand for safety and stability, and who don’t treat the threat of violence as a bargaining chip with their base.

As NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez put it: “Radical Democrat Steven Horsford is a threat to Nevadans and a threat to our nation. He is desperate for the support of the violent, dangerous left, and Nevadans won’t stand for it.”

The warning signs are all there. Horsford has chosen his side and it’s not Nevada’s.
