Nevada Removes 24,000+ Names From Voter Rolls After List Maintenance

By TheNevadaGlobeStaff, December 3, 2025 9:06 am

Nevada has seen a reduction in the number of registered voters statewide, according to data from the office of Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar. Office records show that between October and November, over 24,000 names were removed from the voter rolls as part of a routine list-maintenance process.

The drop includes a 1.5 percent decrease in Republican registrations and a 0.91 percent decrease among Democrats.  After the update, there are roughly 2.1 million active registered voters in Nevada.

Officials say the rollback is tied to voter-list maintenance efforts, especially in Washoe County, where election staff worked to remove inactive or outdated registrations.
