A third person has died following a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Las Vegas that prosecutors allege was caused intentionally. The collision occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and Jones Boulevard, where 12 vehicles were struck.
According to prosecutors, 19-year-old Jose Gutierrez is accused of accelerating his vehicle into a line of cars that were stopped at a traffic light. Gutierrez’s passenger, Adilene Rodriguez, died shortly after the crash. Another driver died the following day, and officials confirmed Thursday that a third person has now died as a result of injuries from the collision.
Gutierrez faces multiple charges, including murder and attempted murder, as the investigation continues. Authorities have not released additional details about a possible motive.
