TRUMP DROPS THE HAMMER: Buck, O’Donnell Land “Complete and Total” Endorsements Ahead of Vegas Swing

President Donald Trump is making his Nevada play crystal clear.

Ahead of a high-profile visit to Las Vegas, Trump rolled out “Complete and Total Endorsements” for two key Republican challengers, State Senator Carrie Buck in NV-01 and Marty O’Donnell in NV-03, instantly reshaping the battlefield in two of the state’s most competitive districts.

In NV-01, Buck is already showing real momentum. She pulled in $436,000 in Q1, powered by an average contribution of just $38.50, a signal of grassroots energy that campaigns kill for. She also stood out nationally as one of only a handful of Republican challengers to outraise a Democrat incumbent late last year.

Now she has Trump.

Carrie Buck told The Nevada Globe, she was honored to have President Trump’s endorsement. Adding, “Dina Titus has lost touch with Nevadans. While families here struggle with rising costs, Titus voted to raise our taxes and fought to keep our borders open. We deserve better. I will fight to cut taxes, secure the border, champion school choice, and deliver No Tax on Tips for Nevada’s working families. “

Because Buck is running against Dina Titus, a long-time incumbent Republicans are aggressively targeting. Trump’s endorsement nationalizes the race overnight, tying Titus directly to the broader Democratic brand at a moment when cost of living, crime, and economic anxiety are dominating the conversation in Nevada.

And Republicans are not holding back.  Democrat Socialist Dina Titus has shown exactly where her priorities lie by voting against No Tax on Tips, backing policies that drive up gas prices, and supporting soft-on-crime policies that leave Nevada communities less safe,” said NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez.

In NV-03, the play is even more aggressive.

O’Donnell, a political outsider with a business and creative background, now steps into the race against Susie Lee with Trump’s full backing. In a district Trump narrowly carried in 2024, that endorsement is not just helpful. NV-03 is a true swing seat. Razor-thin margins. Volatile electorate. A place where even small shifts can flip the outcome.

And Republicans believe they have their opening.

“Out of touch Democrat Susie Lee voted against No Tax on Tips, backed policies that drive up costs, and has been a reliable vote for the far-left radical agenda,” said NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez.

That is the bet. Tie Lee to national Democrats. Tie O’Donnell to Trump. Let the contrast do the work.

Meanwhile, up north, NV-02 is telling a different story. Trump has stayed out of that race so far, but the shape of the contest is already clear. James Settelmeyer has emerged as the early frontrunner, backed by Governor Joe Lombardo and Congressman Mark Amodei.

Two battlegrounds in the south are now fully nationalized with Trump-endorsed challengers. One northern seat consolidating under establishment backing. A state trending competitive across the board.

Nevada is no longer an afterthought. It is a target. Trump’s move locks that in. And heading into his Las Vegas visit, the message is unmistakable. This is where the fight is.
