According to a news release from Clark County: (links added for reference)
The Clark County Election Department is a finalist in the nonpartisan U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence inaugural cohort of Centers for Election Excellence, a recognition that the County is committed to leadership in election administration and looking to develop even more resilient, trustworthy, and voter-centric election administration practices.
As a Center for Election Excellence, Clark County Election Department officials will have an opportunity to join together with election officials and experts from across the country to support each other, and keep their skills fresh.
The Alliance will provide Clark County staff opportunities to collaborate with and share best practices with their colleagues from around the country, creating a national community of learning and support.
“Clark County is honored to be selected as one of only 10 jurisdictions across the country to be included as an inaugural U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence Finalist,” County Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria said. “Our staff looks forward to working in partnership with this alliance to continue providing access to the voting process for voters in Clark County, always striving to make our processes more efficient and providing a transparent process for all constituents.”
“I am thrilled that after a nationwide call for applications from jurisdictions across the country, we have chosen the Clark County Election Department as a Center for Election Excellence,” said Tiana Epps-Johnson, executive director of the Center for Tech and Civic Life. “Clark County is a leader in safe, secure and inclusive elections that put voters first. I’m thrilled to work with County Election Department staff to take their election administration work to the next level.”
The U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence launched in 2022 and is a five-year, $80 million nonpartisan program that brings together election officials, designers, technologists, and other experts to envision, support, and celebrate excellence in U.S. election administration.
If you’re wondering how a newly formed nonprofit has $80 million dollars to fund a “nonpartisan program”, look no further than Facebook (Meta) founder Mark Zuckerberg who infused approximately $350 million into the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) to allegedly manipulate the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor.
According to a deep and wide exposé by The Federalist:
Even well-informed conservative groups who have studied the Center for Technology and Civic Life and its impact on the 2020 election tend to drastically understate the far-left partisan leanings of its founders and administrators. The nonprofit CTCL used approximately $350 million from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to manipulate the 2020 election in favor of President Joe Biden by funding local election offices, with most of the funding going to Democrat-run districts and functioning as a major get-out-the-vote effort.
The group’s key directors are not technology-focused individuals who incidentally pushed “left of center” voting policies. They are far-left radicals who have repeatedly expressed contempt for the rule of law in U.S. elections, and bitter contempt for conservative politicians and the tax
Our social media research shows that CTCL grew from the seeds planted in the fever swamp of leftist election activism known as “RootsCamp 2012.” Since then, CTCL leaders have universally allied themselves with far-left causes such as critical race theory, critical legal theory, and the “defund the police” movement, and have publicly and repeatedly slandered conservatives — and even middle-of-the-road liberals — as irredeemable, dyed-in-the-wool “fascists.
During most of 2020 and 2021, CTCL founder and director Epps-Johnson consistently aligned with far-left partisan principles and personalities. Even subtle digital endorsements such as these are enough to make one wonder just how “nonpartisan” Epps-Johnson could be while presiding over the injection of $350 million of CTCL’s strings-attached, private election funding.
A further dive into the The U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence uncovers they have partnered with the following left-of-center organizations who have numerous ties to Barack Obama, the 1630 Fund, Democracy Fund, and other Democrat-aligned organizations and activists: The Elections Group (who lists numerous “election experts” without last names), The Center for Tech and Civic Life, The Center for Civic Design, Center for Secure and Modern Elections, Hasso Platner Insitute of Design at Stanford, Prototyping Systems Lab, and US Digital Response.
Whitney Quesenbery, Director of CTCL and co-founder of the Center for Civic Design, tweeted the meme on the day of the 2020 Election:
So much for “nonpartisan” and “inclusive.”
As the Clark County election department is supposed to be a nonpartisan and transparent organization, The Globe has reached out to the County for a comment related to the partisan nature and alliances of this organization. When and if we receive a reply, we will provide our readers an update.

Well they get the results the commies want so why not give them an award? it's not like it's an award for ethics and integrity.
After working at an early voting site, this news is appalling. If the election department were a private enterprise it would be bankrupt overnight and sued repeatedly. The inconsistencies that I witnessed were mind boggling. The state of Nevada needs to overhaul the whole election process.
