Dina Titus Scolds Dying American, Says He’s the Problem

A New York voter, desperate and fighting for access to basic blood-pressure medication, unloaded on Titus for allowing illegal immigrants to access benefits while Americans are left waiting in line.

That icy dismissal is classic Dina Titus, a Democrat whose first instinct is to defend illegal immigrants and talk down to struggling Americans who dare to question her priorities. And the truth is, she’s earned the backlash. Titus voted twice to shut down the government, making it even harder for Nevadans to access Social Security, Medicare, and veterans’ services in a timely manner.

She opposed legislation that would make DUI convictions a deportable offense, choosing to shield criminal illegal immigrants over protecting the families she represents. And she even financed and supported a lawsuit attempting to block President Trump’s executive order requiring voters to prove they are U.S. citizens before registering to vote.

When there’s a choice between standing with everyday Americans or appeasing her far-left allies, Titus never hesitates, she picks the radicals every time.

It’s no wonder her policies are now coming home to roost. A man pleading for life-saving medication says he’s “dying,” and Titus’s reaction is to scold him. This is the governing philosophy of the modern Democrat Party: protect illegal immigrants at all costs, lecture Americans when they suffer, and pretend their own decisions have nothing to do with the chaos they created.

Now, even Americans in other states, literally begging for help on live television, are calling out the consequences of her choices.

Titus can try to deflect, condescend, and lecture all she wants. But the message from voters is louder than ever: her policies hurt people, her instincts are out of touch, and her priorities are dangerously misplaced.
