Part 8: Thrown Out and Ignored. How Nevada Election Lawsuits Get Buried by Political Games, Not Justice

Tying into that Voter ID push from last time, it’s maddening how efforts to fix our system often die in court. Story time: In 2024, Republicans sued over Nevada’s voter rolls, claiming improper maintenance let inactives linger. A federal judge dismissed it twice, citing lack of evidence, despite Clark’s 100,000+ inactives. This pattern screams politics over law.
Take the 2024 GOP challenge to post-Election Day mail counts: Dismissed by a judge who said it was too late, even though AP reported it could’ve affected thousands of ballots. Then there’s the 2022 Gilbert suit, where Solomon’s evidence was ignored for procedural reasons.
A similar tale is Pastor Andy’s 2022 lawsuit in Washoe County, alleging systemic failures in machine testing. Courts sidestepped the merits, dismissing on technicalities rather than refuting claims. Why? Critics argue judges, often appointed by Dems in our blue-leaning courts, prioritize politics. A 2020 CNN report noted Trump’s Nevada challenge was denied certification halt despite 15,000 alleged irregularities. This erodes faith; over 60% of Republicans believe courts are biased, per Gallup.
Nevadans worry about more: Mail-in harvesting, border impacts on rolls. Problems like dismissed suits highlight judicial bias; solutions demand federal oversight, like DOJ probes into machine flaws and penalties up to life for fraud.
In Part 9, we’ll cover other key concerns and how federal requirements could lock it down. It’s the blueprint for salvation, stay with me, building to Pastor Andy’s fight and Solomon’s challenge.
