In a briefing call with reporters to highlight Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed record at the southern border, former President Donald J. Trump blamed Border Czar Harris for the border crisis, warning “if she is elected, our country will be permanently destroyed.”

Trump blasted the Biden-Harris administration for advancing the decriminalization of illegal border crossings by ending his “Remain in Mexico” policy, stopping the completion of the border wall, and the administration’s 93 executive actions that “opened our borders up to the entire world.”

“The largest invasion in history is taking place at our border. More than 50 Islamic terrorists have been let loose into the United States. She doesn’t care. She doesn’t know where they are,” Trump charged. “She endorsed the radical left’s plan to dismantle ICE. She compared them to members of the KKK. She supports illegal immigration. She supports free health care, mass amnesty and citizenship for all illegal aliens…Illegal immigration will obliterate Medicare and Social Security. She will make the invasion exponentially worse. If she is elected, our country will be permanently destroyed,” Trump warned.

Brandon Judd, Immediate Past President of the National Border Patrol Council and current President Paul Perez participated in the call and highlighted the dire and perilous statistics and consequences of the border crisis.

Judd stated that Mexican cartel profits from drugs and human smuggling have “skyrocketed” since the Biden-Harris administration reversed Trump’s border policies.

Judd noted that cartel revenue is reported at $13 billion compared to $500 million in 2018 and charged that Harris’ actions “have caused death and depravity,” then labeled her as “dangerously incompetent.”

Perez said that Biden’s executive orders “are a shell game” and that “Catch-And-Release is going on” at the southern border. “The U.S. government is flying people into the country from other countries,” and is “essentially a taxpayer-funded, government-sponsored human trafficking operation,” Perez stated. Having served under five presidents over 27 years, Perez claimed that “President Trump was the best” in protecting the U.S. border.

President Trump said he was prepared for multiple debates with Harris in the coming months. The next debate was due to be Trump against Biden on September 10, hosted by ABC. Trump reiterated that ABC was “Fake News” and was now “trying to make a hero out of Joe Biden.”

Referring to Harris’s failed presidential run in 2020, Trump stated: “She failed badly. She never made it to Iowa. Her name value didn’t last long. She was decimated in the debates by Tulsi and others. She was, by far, the nastiest to Joe Biden. No one was nastier and played the race card than her at a level you don’t exactly see. I wouldn’t recover from that, and I wouldn’t have picked her. I think similar things are going to happen to her. She started at a high level and was decimated, and never made it to Iowa. If she campaigns that way now, I expect she won’t be too tough.”
