A Clark County Grand Jury Indicted a Las Vegas Woman Wednesday for Stealing $315,000 From Two People Over Two Years

LAS VEGAS – Roslynn Myrick is charged with 10 offenses. Five charges of stealing, three counts of taking advantage of an older or more vulnerable individual, one offense of gaining money by lying, and one crime of using illegally obtained money or property in a financial transaction.
A male lost $116,700 while a 60-year-old lady lost $199,312.15.
Myrick, 61, is accused of diverting a man’s retirement money after promising to manage it.
Myrick told the woman she would pay bills with her payment. She used the money after giving herself power of attorney. The woman’s money was obtained under false pretenses, according to the indictment.
The indictment claims the thefts occurred from Feb. 5, 2016, until June 12, 2018. Indictment: Myrick spent money till January 25, 2019.
