A Former Teacher at a Private School in Las Vegas Has Been Accused of Sexual Misconduct
LAS VEGAS – Court records reveal a former Faith Lutheran instructor had a sexual relationship with a student.
David Fendley is charged with six charges of intercourse with a 16-year-old or older student.
Fendley had left Faith Lutheran “due to unrelated circumstances” for several years, a spokeswoman said.
A LinkedIn profile for the same person says Fendley taught middle school theology there.
A student alleged an inappropriate relationship in December 2021, a spokeswoman said.
Faith Lutheran takes every accusation seriously and strives to offer a safe and supportive environment for students. We’ll continue to help the investigation and our former student.
Pendley was arrested Monday on a warrant. His court date was next month.
Faith Lutheran serves 6th through 12th graders.
