A Hiker In Las Vegas Has Been Injured After Falling In Red Rock Canyon

LAS VEGAS – According to Clark County, Fire Department reports, a hiker was hurt after falling in Red Rock Canyon along the Scenic Loop on Saturday.
Around 1:06 p.m., CCFD got reports of the hiker’s fall from other hikers on the trail, who heard pleas for aid and promptly notified first responders. According to reports, the hiker was about a quarter-mile into the trek, near Sandstone Quarry, when he fell.
According to CCFD, a Search and Rescue chopper was brought in to assist, and the hiker was found, however the extent of their injuries is yet unknown.
KTNV contacted LVMPD and Red Rock Search and Rescue but had not received a response at the time of publication.
