LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – An “unexpected” cardiac arrest at school led to the death of a Las Vegas student.
Jordan Brister, a senior, was named as the student in a post from Amplus Academy.
Brister “suddenly and unexpectedly suffered cardiac arrest while at school with no explanation for why,” according to a GoFundMe link provided by the school.
According to the GoFundMe, Brister had intended to enter the military after graduating.
Words cannot adequately describe what the Brister family is going through, and there will never be sufficient explanations for this. According to the GoFundMe, “He was an amazing kid who loved life to the fullest.”
After the death of Brister, a 16-year-old girl died of a medical emergency while participating in a flag football game at a school in the south Las Vegas Valley.
