An Accident Involving a Car Hurt a Man Who Was Trying to Cross the Street in a Motorized Wheelchair

LAS VEGAS – A guy in a motorized wheelchair was hurt while trying to cross the street in North Las Vegas, and police are looking into the incident.
Wednesday, a guy allegedly crossed Craig Road without using a crosswalk, prompting police to intervene.
A westbound vehicle struck the man, who was probably in his 60s or 70s at the time.
A critical condition transfer was made to UMC for the man. As far as the police are concerned, the driver remained at the scene after the collision.
It is unknown how fast the vehicle was traveling before the accident, although the speed limit in the area is 45 miles per hour.
