Animal Shelter Offers Free Pet Vaccine and Microchipping Event
LAS VEGAS – Next week, a Las Vegas animal shelter will offer a free pet immunization and microchip event.
The Animal Foundation has teamed with the nonprofit Petco Love to provide a free immunization walk-in clinic on Monday, December 12.
The free clinic will be conducted at the Animal Foundation site, 655 N. Mojave Road, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to the organization.
The immunizations and microchips will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the Animal Foundation.
Free immunizations for dogs and cats will be given, according to the shelter. According to the statement, DAPPv Canine, HCP Feline, and rabies vaccines will be administered.
“We are overjoyed to be able to provide these vaccines and microchipping to pet owners at no cost,” said Daryl Sprague, Chief Development and Marketing Officer. “We encourage community members to use this free resource to assist limit disease spread and ensure the health and wellness of our community’s pets.”
According to the Animal Foundation, the event will “ensure that vaccines are accessible to pet parents who may be facing financial issues and that cost is not a barrier to protecting pets from preventable diseases.”
