Henderson Police Department is investigating the discovery of a deceased male found in a wash area near Wetlands Park, just north of Via De Pellegrini and Via Della Fortuna. The body was located on Tuesday around 7:50 a.m., during ongoing search efforts for a man who went missing during a swift-water rescue on May 6. The missing individual was last seen near Aloha Drive and South Pueblo Boulevard, approximately five miles south of the current investigation site.
Despite extensive search operations involving multiple agencies, including the use of off-road vehicles, K9 units, drones, and helicopters, the man was not located at the time. Authorities have not yet confirmed the identity of the deceased, and the Clark County coroner will release further information pending notification of next of kin. Initial findings suggest no evidence of foul play.
