Las Vegas, NV – A Clark County School District (CCSD) teacher was arrested Wednesday following an investigation at C.V.T. Gilbert Elementary School, the district confirmed.

Details of the Arrest:

59-year-old Rima Villaret, a Teacher – Early Childhood/Special Education, was taken into custody by CCSD Police.
Villaret faces charges including child abuse or neglect, battery on a vulnerable person, and false imprisonment.
The district confirmed Villaret’s employment since July 2016 but declined to comment on the specific allegations due to the ongoing investigation.
