LAS VEGAS, NV — A quiet early-morning dog walk in east Las Vegas turned into a life-or-death emergency on Saturday, May 2, 2026, when a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver. The victim was rushed to the trauma center at University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
