In the early hours of April 17, 2025, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to a domestic violence report in the Arts District, leading to a barricade situation near Charleston Boulevard and Casino Center. The incident began around 1:12 a.m., prompting a significant police presence in the area. After several hours, the individual involved was taken into custody without further incident. Road closures were in effect during the response but have since been lifted.
