Emergency Landing in Las Vegas: Pilot’s Quick Thinking Averts Disaster

On Sunday morning, a small aircraft departing from Henderson Airport encountered mechanical issues shortly after takeoff.
The pilot attempted to return but, facing traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard, was forced to land in a roadside ditch near mile marker 13. Four individuals were aboard; one sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized.
The FAA is currently investigating the incident.
