LAS VEGAS – According to a Clark County fire spokesman, the Las Vegas Fire Department was responding to a two-alarm fire at an apartment complex on Smoke Ranch Road near U.S. 95 on Saturday morning.
Clark County Fire Chief John Steinbeck said that at 7:11 a.m., the city fire department received a call of a fire at the complex located at 7101 Smoke Ranch, prompting a second alarm and the arrival of approximately 20 units.
According to the city fire department’s notes, flames were visible rising through the roof of the building, which corroborated what Steinbeck had said.
